Pentax digital camera not connecting to Vista computer to upload pictures?
I've been trying to fix my dad's computer and camera problem. He has a Pentax digital camera and when we connect it to his computer with the USB cable nothing happens... usually when a camera is connected it will prompt something to appear on the screen and then you can upload photos from the camera, but in this case nothing happens. I've made sure the camera is ON and in playback mode. The USB cable seems to be OK. Also, tried different USB ports on the computer. Anyone have any ideas?

LCD blank on Pentax digital camera?
When I turn the camera on the LCD stays blank, it lights up but it is still blank. I can take pictures and then look at the pictures but I just can't see anything when I take the pictures. I've reset the camera and used different batteries. Is there anything that I can do, or do I have to get it repaired. If you do not know for sure please don't answer and say that I have to get it repaired if there's a possibility that I don't. Please only answer if you have prior knowledge of this problem, thanks in advance.The camera model is an optio E60. For anyone that may have difficulty interpreting what I said then I'll try to explain again. When I first turn the camera on the lcd screen lights up but is blank. I can take pictures as I usually do but I just can't see anything on the LCD screen when I try to take pictures. I can see the picture I just took on the LCD screen when I press the playback button. I can see the main menu only when I'm reviewing my pictures.
