Why does my canon digital camera hesitate sometimes?
When I take the 1st picture, it snaps it instantly.BUT If I take 3 or 4 pictures in a row, it clicks but doesn't take the picture.When it does this, I have to wait 1 minute for it to allow me to snap again.and than I have to wait again. Its like it has to regain its composure This is not good if I need to capture something unexpectedly. I thought canons were the best cameras?I have the Power shot SD1100 IS 8 mega pixels

My husband takes amazing scenic/landscape pictures. Right now we have canon digital camera 6x optical zoom and?
8 megapixels. it's powershot a720is. it is a very good camera but I sometimes feel when it comes to taking vast landscape pictures....it is not that good. I love this camera but I want to gift my husband a better one. Not dslr....he says he does not have the patience it is true....to be a good photographer....one needs lot of patience to learn the technique and sit and go thru the manual.I recently came across digital compact cameras.....i have no idea what these are? are they simple.....good to take scenic landscape pictures.....we are planning a vacation.....so I want to him to have the best camera....to take pictures....easily. I guess that's important....good pictures....taken easily. What do you recommend....any good brand that you know of? ur experience with cameras...and how you take pictures.....please don't feel shy....any tip idea would be great....I want my husband to realise that he has a knack for taking amazing pictures. What is optical zoom in a camera.....should it be more or less?Thanks alot

How can i fix the lens of my canon digital camera that does not to come out?

Should I buy a 16gb or 32gb sdhc memory card for my new canon digital camera with 720p hd video on it?
I just bought a Canon PowerShot SX130IS 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 12x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom. It has the ability to shoot 720p HD video. I think I will be shooting a lot of video. Should I get the 32GB SDHC card for $54 or go for the 16GB card for $29? How much video pictures can each card hold?This is NOT a yes or no question. i am comparing the two cards. i will buy one of them. but which one should i buy?they are both class 10the 32GB class 6 card is $53 and the 32GB class 10 card is $54.51. so for $1.51 less it's really not any cheaper to go down to class 6.

I need some help with my canon,when i plug my usb cable trying to put my pictures in my computer,it does nothing.. i though it was maybe the usb cable that didn't work anymore so i did buy another one and still do nothing when i plug it ???

Canon digital camera like the Nikon d5000?
I found a Nikon d5000 for 599$ at Sam's Club that comes with a casefrom there onward I havent found anything that has the same features and " cool stuff" that the nikon d5000 has including the vari angle.I was looking for a canon like it but couldn't find one.Anyone have any advise? anyone know any canon like the nikon d5000.its need can change lens can change flash vari angle lcd same featuresThanks so much

It was a great camera and we got a lot of use out of it, when it suddenly stopped working about 2 months ago. We thought it could be the battery pack, so we ordered an extra one, and that was a waste of another 40 bucks. It has been less than a year and this thing isn't working at all, it won't even turn on and we can't get the pictures that are on there onto our computer. We moved across the country and we can't find the original packaging of the camera, but I don't know if that matters. Since it is sold by Amazon LLC, I know that they have a record of the purchase and what not. We never registered it with Canon and I don't know if it's too late now. I would do more research, but I have dial up and my connection doesn't seem to like the Canon site.Are we S.O.L.? Should I just suck it up and order a new camera?Thank you very much for the answers.

My Canon digital camera screen froze now when I turn it on nothing shows.?
I have a Canon IPowerShot SD 1400 IS Digital ELPH and I was taking a picture and the screen froze. So I turned it off. Then back on again and the screen is black but the lens stays out as if my camera is on. Is there any way to fix it? I can't go to Best Buy and fix it because I live in Shanghai at the moment. So if there is any way I could fix it that would be great. Thanks
